How can login into the forum?

If you have received an email from the Math Club, your username will be the name you see in the email (unless you have changed it). If you have never logged into the forum before, your password is "guest". I highly recommend you change it if you have not done so already. This can be done by selecting the PROFILE tab above and selecting "account related settings" link that you will find on the left hand side.

If you have never received an email from the Math Club that means we don't have your info. Please select the REGISTER tab above and enter the appropriate information. You will then receive an email with your account details.

If you have any troubles, please contact mathclub@ccny.cuny.edu

How can I stop receiving email news and announcements from the math club

If you have already logged in, please go to your PROFILE page and select "notifications and email" link on the left hand side. From there you can alter all your subscriptions.

If you have any troubles, please contact mathclub@ccny.cuny.edu

More to come.... If there is something you believe we need please let us know!!!

I don't know if only admins can post in this section, so forgive me, but I have a question.

What are we doing to get people signed up on this site?

It seems to me that we do not want only the math club to use this site, but at least all CCNY students who are taking math courses. How are we getting the word out that this resource exists? Do the professors in the math department even know about this site? We should get them to tell their students that there is a forum out there that caters to CCNY math students. And of course, there are other ways to get the word out, but I think that is one very effective way. Let's pump some life into this baby!

Jhevon,

I've seen your username in a math forum.  Are you registered with mathhelpforum.com?

Wait, so this is for all math students to use really? I'll try to spread the news in my calculus class. So, can students post up their questions about certain topics in math and get help?

One way you can spread the news is also to post up flyers in the NAC building. You can get them approved by the office of Student Life and Development.

Perfect!

This is what i was trying to do in my previous 2 year college. They woudn't let me. We had the similar thing you guys have.
Online help, in club etc.

I just want to say keep up the good work.
Also, a suggustion if this site is not popular among math professors then i would say to talk to them. Get to know almost all of the math professors. Email them. Good luck with everything. And thx for this resource. You will be hearing from me.

Math professors are aware of this club site and the link to this site is provided through math department website. Math professors get updates on important news through e-mails sent by the administrators of this site.
